The Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument (a couple hours drive north of Kanab), Pipe Spring National Monument (only a couple hours southwest of Kanab), and Coral Pink Sand Dunes (less than an hour driving southwest) are also sites worthy of a visit while staying in Southern Utah.
